“The Merry Maids of Nottingham” by Jennifer Dice: This rollicking mashup features parts of the Robin Hood story with selected elements of “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” one of Shakespeare’s silliest plays. A troupe of actors (The Merry Maids, let by the noble Marian) run into a band of sylvan outlaws, including Robin Hood and Friar Falstaff, and together they put on a show - and fight the treacherous King John.

Our production classes teach students how to prepare a role, work as an ensemble, and perform in a professional setting, culminating in public performances on our professional stage.

This production will perform on the University Heights Stage as well as the Seattle Public Theater stage. All classes will be held at the University Heights Center.
