Seattle Public Theater’s Education Programs provide performance, design, and playwriting opportunities for young students ages three to eighteen, and engages with over a thousand students and audiences every year.
Our Production Classes teach students how to prepare a role, work as an ensemble, and perform in a professional setting, culminating in public performances on our professional stage.
Theater Labs focus on sharpening students their techniques, discover a new interest within theater, or learn a new theatrical skill. Classes culminate with project presentations or sharing.
Our Tech Program focuses on stage management and theatrical design. This provides students with opportunities to learn programming, develop and follow-through on design, and collaboration with a professional director. Students are provided mentorship throughout the process by their director and Seattle Public Theater’s Production Department.
