Tales of Nipon (Grades 2-5)

A clever talking monkey, a 1-inch tall Samurai, a lazy Peach Boy, a Demon King and a Princess who Does Not Wish to Marry tell their stories in rapidfire, overlapping scenes in this funny, action-packed selection of traditional Japanese tales. Talking crabs and swarming Oni! People from the Moon! Adapted by Seattle playwright Kendall Uyeji, directed by longtime Seattle Public Theater teaching artist (and Seattle actor and director) Steven Sterne.
