3 Monty Pythons & a Stooge: Directed by Shawn Belyea
The Stooges and Monty Python are doorways into a whole universe of theatrical comedy. Join us for a wild ride as we work on classic Italian lazzi and physical clowning/comedy, contemporary verbal sketch comedy, classic farce, scenes from comic masterpieces, radio comedy (like Who's On First), and more. Great comedy is hard work, but you'll have a blast as you deepen your performance skills and learn how to be specific, intentional, and controlled with your physical and verbal wit. Rehearsals: August 29 - Sept 2 |
Summer Splash!

End summer with a splash of drama! Scene study, stage combat, improve, clowning, dialect work, and more. Deepen and expand your acting skills. Learn how to analyze a scene, think fast on your feet, speak in dialect, die a tragic death, run the light board, play with costumes - and at the end of the week, tie it all together in a final sharing for family and friends. Rehearsals: August 29 - Sept 2

Click Clack Moo,
Cows that Type Farmer John's cows have found a typewriter. But things get out of hand when the cows start protesting and making demands. “ Dear Farmer Brown. The barn is very cold at night. We'd like some electric blankets. Sincerely, The Cows.” When Farmer John refuses to comply with their demands, the cows take action. This hilarious tale gives young rebels-in-the-making a taste of the power of peaceful protest and the satisfaction of cooperative give and take. Rehearsals: August 15-19

Puck, Ariel and Macbeth’s Witches. Skip, scurry and slink into theater in this one-week exploration of some of Shakespeare’s most deviously delightful characters. Storybook Theater
Directed by Sara Grosman
Using movement, music, and much imagination, kids work together to create a play – and also have a chance to make the costumes, props, and sets!
