Want an up close and personal lesson on how we make theatrical magic? Want that inside scoop on how it all comes together back stage? If so come to our first session of SPT/BTS aka Seattle Public Theater Behind the Scenes.
This FREE evening length discussion on Sunday, September 28th at 7pm will focus on the scenic design process and feature our current mainstage production Slip/Shot’s Scenic Designer Craig Wollam and Director Kelly Kitchens. Exploring how the director and scenic designer collaborate to bring the page to the stage, Kitchens and Wollam will explain the thoughts and conversations behind their artistic decissions on Slip/Shot’s set.
SPT/BTS aka Seattle Public Theater Behind the Scenes is a free program we are bringing to you as a way of celebrating our 15th year as resident company of Green Lake’s historic Bathhouse Theater as well as being a way for us to say thank you for supporting “Great Theater Up Close.”
