OPENS JANUARY 28
RUNS THROUGH FEBRUARY 20

my wonderful day

By Alan Ayckbourn

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays @7:30 PM, Sunday matinee @2:00 PM. This show runs approximately 100 minutes with no intermission. Some Adult Themes Recommended for ages 9 years and up at parents' discretion

Start the New Year with the rueful family comedy, My Wonderful Day, by Alan Ayckbourn.  In My Wonderful Day, adult follies are seen through the eyes of a smart and wearily innocent nine year old girl. SPT’s production is the Seattle premiere of the 73rd show by the award-winning British expert of social satire and comedy.

Winnie lives in a world full of adults. She's off school for the day and has an essay to write, "My Wonderful Day." What better time to write it than today? What better opportunity than quietly seated unnoticed in a corner, while mother busies herself around the house? What better source of material than the bizarre and increasingly frenetic comings and goings of adults in the weird household in which she finds herself?

Sit with Winnie and observe her "Wonderful" day and be prepared to be appalled! Grown ups, really, they're such children!

Featuring N'Tasha Anders, Emily Grogan, Shawn Law, Allison Strickland, Candace Vance, and Evan Whitfield

Directed by Marcus Goodwin
