END DAYS

By Deborah Zoe Laufer

End Days is a quirky comedy about family, religion, science, and letting go of fear. Sixteen-year-old Rachel Stein is having a bad year. Her father won't change out of his pajamas. Her born-again mother is so devoted to Jesus that He’s moved in with the family. Her new neighbor, a sixteen-year-old with an Elvis fixation, who is studying for his bar mitzvah, has fallen for her. And the Apocalypse is coming on Wednesday. Her only hope is that Stephen Hawking will save the day.

End Days is directed by Carol Roscoe and features Heather Hawkins, Evan Whitfield, Carolyn Marie Monroe, Anthony Duckett, and Keith Dahlgren.

"irreverent, energetic and utterly amusing comedy....smart comedy with plenty of affection, theatrically inventive and solidly grounded." SeattleActor.com

"…rapturously funny play about a family trying to survive in a world hurtling toward Armageddon, proves that the right playwright can inspire healing laughter in even the most sobering subjects."~The Miami Herald

"poignantly redemptive and hilariously funny."
~The Huffington Post

"Deborah Zoe Laufer... zero(s) in on some contemporary staples -- religion, science, 9/11, and celebrity worship -- and weav(es) them into a satirical dark comedy with a moral edge."
-Variety
